Disaster Zone
Well I decided to go into the House Of Fraser at Princes Street to get this shot looking towards Haymarket with the ongoing shambles of Edinburgh Tram Works and was totally gobsmacked to see the whole length between Haymarket and the Junction of Lothian Road that all the concrete either side of the rails and in between the rails is being dug up by Pneumatic Drills WTF are they playing at down there I have been in the rail industry for almost 25 years and have never seen such a shambolic cock up in all my life not surprising that the guy signing off all the big money cheques had a background in Social Work go figure anyway after taking this shot I was feeling a little parched and peckish so I popped into The Alexander Graham Bell Pub on George Street for a pint of Abbot Ale and some chips and onion rings then bumped into my best mate Stevie and his wife Trisha so had another drink in All Bar One also on George Street then I headed home later that afternoon as I was a 06:14 start and I was able to drive my car into work now that the DVLA have let me drive my car again even without this Thursdays hospital assessment at the sleep clinic so hopefully not long now before getting back driving my train so it was an early night for me a little restless after a week off but there you go I'm ok now so movie for the day is "Megafault 2009" See Ya
