Upstairs lounge

Saturday morning and almost everyone has gone out for a walk on a beautiful sunny morning. We are left behind with birthday celebrant Cliff and one of his daughters. Cliff had a stroke before Christmas, and has had this weekend as a goal for his recovery. It is impressive watching him fight his new disabilities, and we are seeing progress by the day. A carer is coming twice a day even here on holiday.
Yesterday was a lovely birthday for him with cards, presents and plenty of bubbly and booze. All round the huge dining table.
