Waxwings Again

Janet wanted to see the waxwings, so we drove up to Rodborough Common for my second lyrical waxing. The light was much poorer today than yesterday, but the number of photographers had if anything increased... 

Being a weekend many of the birders had dragged along their young offspring, who would far rather have been in the shopping centres, and I chatted with one pair as the flock of about forty waxwings flew between trees - basically wherever the photographers weren't. Particularly the one using flash...

The light quickly disappeared, and then the photographers did likewise. ;-)
