Pre Dawn Fireworks

I honestly didn't expect to see this light when I drove towards the supermarket at 7 'o' clock this morning.  Cloud covered the sky and a strong blustery wind still made for a cold start to the day.

It was only walking out of the supermarket 45 minutes later that a suggestion of colour could be seen to the east.  I headed out in that direction looking for a suitable space to capture a shot of the sky.  This was my first opportunity and I was glad I got some shots onto the memory card because only a couple of minutes late the light had faded completely.
