More roses

When I downloaded this blip I had an instant flash back to a summer dress I had as a teeneager in the fifties. It was glazed cotton with a full skirt and had red roses and green leaves splashed all over it. I loved it!

I'm sorry, I can't remember the name of this rose! So frustrating! I know it was French. that's as far as I get. It usually has just one flowering session in the summer, but sometimes it obliges with a few more flowers in the autumn. It is growing up a 7ft frame in the rose bed.

After an Internet search I found it! It is "Ferdinand Pichard" and it is available for sale at at least two suppliers.
