Thriving

The frost has disappeared but it doesn't feel any warmer, due to the wind-chill. Most of the garden looks a bit the worse for wear, but this Hellebore (H. argutifolius) seems to be thriving and producing flower buds - luckily, otherwise it might have been a Blip-free day. (There was a spectacular red sunrise this morning but I wasn't up quite early enough - it was beginning to fade when I saw it, though I've seen a lot of evidence on social media of what I missed!)
