Asteroids

Either an asteroid belt or a big fish about to swallow a smaller one.
It was definitely hard going on the paths today.  Lover's Lane, on the way to the riverside, was less drifted, but the snow had compressed and was harder to get through. The path upriver was slush, slush in puddles, slush on puddles, and muddy grass.  I got about halfway, where there was a large impassable puddle, so turned around.  I'd decided not to go up Lover's Lane again, but determined that the paths on the long way round were no better, and slogged back up.  It's hard work, like walking on sand, but with added slipperiness.
