Out for a walk

Such a beautiful day today.  Tim reluctantly decided not to go for a walk as he was tired from his previous four days of morning exercise (two walks and two rowing sessions), and because he had to take the car for its service in the afternoon.  I decided it was too nice a day not to get out - so I had a late lunchtime walk down to the seafront and back.  And it was lovely.

Spent the rest of the day trying to crunch a load of numbers for work.  A challenge every year, and this was no exception - still out by the end of the day, so will have to revisit next week.

My sister had a difficult visit with my Mum this afternoon - tough conversations around her long-term care.  Getting old is so s***.
