An Arresting Sight
The weather was kind - cold, grey and windy. But it didn't rain.
So Kitty and I sped out to Bridgnorth and rubbed shoulders with the esteemed members of the Cherished Cars of Shropshire Club.
There were some fast cars, mint cars, old wrecks and a few Jags to keep Kitty company.
But beyond doubt, the star of the show was the Morris Minor 1000.
Built in January 1968 it is now 56 years old and looking good as new.
It was an original police panda car and saw service for the Metropolitan Police in London. It was retired in 1972, and has been in private ownership ever since.
I have attached a youtube short below if you want to see and hear it in action (volume up!)

And in the bar was a gentleman with a puppy in his pocket. (extra)
See how exciting my life is!!
