Not a lazy Sunday

Our day started with Wayne's walking and jogging club having their weekly walk from our place followed by morning tea. Fortunately there were only ten of them so morning tea was quite easy. They enjoyed my baking which made my efforts in the hot kitchen yesterday worthwhile. 
Our next stop was to do a little shopping at a mall then back to another mall to meet up with a friend for a cuppa. The best bus option to get home was the long way round so we took a bus back to mall number one then into the city. There was still a bit if a wait for our bus so we wandered through to see a busker. Christchurch has a fantastic busking festival each January with wonderful acts coming from many parts of the world. The magician we watched got a great reception from the crowd. 
We finally headed to the bus and returned home both feeling like it had been a long day.
