Waiting for Gracie
We were exhausted after the matches last night and not getting home until nearly 1 am so we slept in this morning and then headed out to the Victoria Markets where there was an African music festival. After some drumming, watching some dancing and a very good coffee, we headed back in to Flinders lane. The first and fourth extras are from the market. The second extra is the teashop from the Block Arcade (an arcade with beautiful mosaics which runs off Elizabeth St). The fifth is one of the food lanes where we found a quaint cafe for lunch, the third and sixth ones are from AC/DC lane and Hosier lane. In Hosier lane was a queue of young beauties all with bows in their hair. They were waiting for a Gracie Abrams concert which was starting at 9 pm. Some of them had been there waiting in line from the previous day.
We had just enough time to get home, upload yesterday's blip and then head out again to the tennis. It is now nearly 1 am but it is a travel day tomorrow so I am not sure when I will blip again and I have turned comments back on as I will get around to commenting when I get home. This tennis malarky is full on but I have enjoyed every minute (except that the poor Demon lost to Rublev tonight. Rublev in the end was the better player and it was a great match). Catch you on the other side.
PS I mucked up the extras hence the odd order.
