BEFORE STORM ISHA

This lovely wee sunrise came to nothing long after this photo was taken the mist came in and we haven't been able to see across The Bay all day.

Hubby and I went over to Morecambe to see Mum today, but the weather was dreadful.  We took her her shopping, stayed for a coffee and a chat and then came home as the weather was just getting worse. 

The roads weren't great, lots of huge puddles already.  Again most people driving to the conditions but there are always some.  An obviously empty horse box overtook us on the A590 and they must have been doing over 70!!!  Perhaps I go too slow, but I think under such weather conditions 50 to 60 is plenty!!!  Aah well we made it there and back.

Apparently Storm Isha is due to but us about 6.00 this evening, so we're now hunkering down.
