GREY WAGTAIL
I managed about twenty minutes in the local valley gardens before I had to put the camera back in its bag and head for home in the increasing wind and rain. Fortunately there were two birds that put in a special appearance for me in that time – this grey wagtail in the stream and a song thrush (extra) rootling about in the leaf litter. I hope they, and all blippers, are safe and dry by now and stay that way until Isha - or whatever extreme weather is affecting your part of the world - has moved on.
