Out and about with the birds before the storm!

It is wild outside now as I post these images but this morning was sunny and bright. Several curlews about and I do so love this dramatic bird with its long probing beak. There is still quite a lot of ice left on dykes and on flooded fields but lots of birds about. Here's hoping everyone keeps safe.
