Arum Lily

It's been a day trying to catch up with photo editing today. I think I have put about thirty new photos up on Flickr, which doesn't sound a lot, but I have deleted about 40 gigs worth of rubbish off the creaking hard drive!

Another cold, dank, miserable summers day. The most I could manage was this photo of the Arum Lily which has opened in the garden in the past few days.

This lily is not even a true lily, it seems that not just ornithologists are rubbish a naming things. They are of course associated with funerals and weddings and is also known as a Calla Lily. It's a wonderful looking flower.
