Cigarette Cards

A very dark, wet and windy day today.  To get some exercise I climbed on to the treadmill.  This framed collection of cigarette cards is on the wall by the machine and I often look at them whilst exercising.
It was a present given to me on my 40th Birthday.  It's a collection entitled 'Speed' and was issued by Wills Tobacco in 1938. It's interesting to see what passed for 'speed' in the late 1930's.
