Memories

I recently purchased a collection of old photos from a friend in his mid-80s. It included this photo of the 1969 Mr Universe judges' panel in the old Royal Hotel ballroom, London.

I knew a number of these men and the smart looking guy on the left is Dr Ian MacQueen, (1920 - 2012), an orthopaedic surgeon from London. We visited his daughter in Adelaide several years ago.

Three years later I was attending the Universe event as a photographer and judge representing Australia, and sitting at a similar set of tables.
