Hidy hole

Woke up and headed down to Seahouses this morning to go diving off the Farne Islands with the seals. J and Claire were chocked up with cold but came on the boat for a ride.
The weather had turned against us with the wind in the wrong direction, which meant the Farne's were not possible. The only place diveable was the bay just up the coast.
In the bay as a wreck, which seems to have been a large ship judging by the boilers we saw. In only 9m of water it would have made a great second dive but not so great as the only dive available for the day.
The life seems to be coming out, as the water is getting a bit warmer. This edible crab has made a nice home for himself in the broken drive shaft of the ship.
Decided not to do the second dive, as it was the same as the first, which meant we go back a bit earlier than expected.
Headed back to Claire and Matt's for a nice pub meal in their local. Pudding was an enormous piece of white chocolate cheesecake with gingerbread ice cream. Great way to end the day with a couple of pints of Doom Bar as well.
