Lake Hayes …..

….. ….. ….. and Canada geese.

Still hot today but not as sizzling as it has been, thankfully.
Missy & I walked along the north side of Lake Hayes, and back. Lovely & fresh, with a friendly biker putting water into a dog bowl as we arrived about halfway on the way back. Much appreciated kindness.

I met up with 2 Girl Friday friends at lunchtime - one is a neighbour over the road and the other is visiting from Christchurch. They’d been up to Paradise, near Glenorchy, for the weekend and showed me wonderful photos. It really is ‘paradise’ up there.

And amazingly - Missy actually asked/waited hungrily for her dinner tonight. That hasn’t happened for nearly two weeks! Wow. Happiness reigns. It’s taken a while to get on top of Missy’s heat exhaustion.
