The Wedding Day!

Today was a beautiful day, it was my cousin Clare's wedding day. She is now Mrs Cox! Her and Joe make a fabulous couple, and everyone enjoyed the day.

It started with every body meeting in Westport and getting on the coach to the church. It was Dad's job, as her God Father, to make sure everyone was on the church, and ticked off the list!

The service was in a church in Tourmakeady. It was lovely, and the priest was great as well. He made it really enjoyable. As Clares God-Daughter I read a bidding prayer for her, which went well.

After church, we all got on a coach to Maire Luke's for snacks and drinks, and then went on to Paddys Bar for the main event!

There was a massive marquee in the garden, which backed onto the lake. Here was where we had canapés, a 3 course meal, all the lovely speeches, a live irish band, and of course later on a DJ and dancing.

It was great, and everyone got a lift home on a coach as well. It really was a fun day, and I loved seeing Clare and Joe so happy. They are a perfect couple, and it was a fantastic way to start there married life.
