Heaven in your eyes

Day 3 of the exercise routine today - managed 8 miles in under an hour, very pleased with that. I think I prefer riding when it's a little chilly, that's for sure. It was preceded by the continuing initiation of Jnr Snr into Sci-Fi nerdiness with a viewing of Stargate; I was a bit shocked to see that it's nearly 20 years old.....gulp! She loved it.

The Life of Pi went down well last night, although both girls were blubbing in parts: Jnr Snr because she found some parts sad, Jnr Jnr because she was tired and her big sister was crying so she must have thought it was the done thing. I love that film. We had a great discussion about the two stories and their importance on the way to Sainsburys this afternoon - can't believe she's growing up so quickly.

Rib-eye steak for Mrs H this evening to welcome her home....better get slaving...
