Down, but not out

Storm Isha was the worst wind storm we have had here in Argyll since the one in early January 2012 which caused substantial damage and much disruption.

The wind was less intense but it was also from a different direction and as that direction was south west, then veering west we had some shelter, with the strongest gust being just under 50 mph around 1.00am.    

Whilst Torag's garage roof lost its flashing, the worst we had was a plastic post box blown away, and this bench knocked over.    The electricity also went off twice, but not for very long and the internet reconnected very quickly.   We have lost our  telephone landline, which is not scheduled now for repair until the end of the week at the earliest, but we don't use it much thank goodness.
