A pretty chalet
This was the view from our hotel bedroom window this morning, I have always liked this pretty chalet in the village. Earlier I watched the sky behind this chalet fill with pink as the sun rose, but the day soon settled to a grey day and snow was forecast for tonight.
We had our last breakfast at the hotel, checked out and were on our way to Zurich in good time. We received an email from British Airways this morning saying that due to the storms in the UK our flight could possibly be delayed, but thankfully it was not and we had a very easy flight home that actually landed slightly ahead of schedule!
There were a few others from our group on the same flight, but some others stayed to ski today and are only flying home tonight. Especially those with young children wanted to take full advantage of this weekend away from the children while they could get a break!
Once home I unpacked, did some laundry and then went down the road to the doctor as I had an appointment about the spot on my leg - he is the GP in the practice who specialises in skin problems and he assured me that it did not look like a basal cell carcinoma. While I was there I also discussed my eczema flare ups and he prescribed a non steroid cream as the one prescribed by the dermatologist a few years ago is a very strong steroid, which I knew was totally unsuitable for the face.
Tonight I have another print competition at our camera club, plus I need to take in all the prints for the Surrey Photographic Association exhibition competition so I have a print box full of prints tonight.
I brought back some rösti and bratwurst for Tommy which I know he will enjoy for supper tonight.
