Dusk approaching.

Didn't sleep well last night as Ishi was roaring outside and there were various bumps and bangs. By morning it was dying down and rain had set in.  One of my bins had nearly been blown away but was stuck at the back of my car. and lots of what looked like straw was scattered all over the garden.  Not a sign of a bird but once I put out food they appeared. Later in the day I went to the Pillars for bread then drove round for a while surprised to see no trees down. Dusk was setting in as I stopped at Letham ponds for a blip and, by the time I got home, it was dark.
