The storm couldn't blow them down!

Our budding snowdrops stood their ground and were still  carrying on getting ready to open their flowers in the coming weeks.

I took a while to go to sleep last night with the wind howling around the house. Which trees would fall?..Not a single tree moved! even the dead ones that we've wished would fall.
