Attempting To Get To The Rootes Of The Problem

It was a beautifully sparkling winter's morning today and I intended to head into our local town of Maidstone to capture what I was hoping would be a sunlit scene of some of the moored boats on the glittering surface of the nearby River Medway but sadly there was not a single water borne craft in sight.
Therefore, I thought I would check on the progress of the refurbishment of the Art Deco style old Rootes car showroom and workshops in the town that are being converted into apartments, shops and restaurants, which were last the subject of a blip back in October 2022. Concerningly there appears to have been no progression whatsoever and even the artists impression of the intended outcome on a nearby hoarding has disappeared but I still wanted to get a shot of it for today's blip.
I couldn't seem to get an image I liked until I walked down a side street and I could see the light shimmering off the building's plastic wrapping and the pops of red from the Christmas illuminations, that have still not been taken down, against that azure blue sky. I did attempt to straighten the image up but then decided I liked the off kilter look!
