In bud

Couldn't resist picking up these daffs as we passed through the supermarket checkout this morning. They're the first I've seen in the shops this year, and there's something about them that says Spring's on its way. And on a day like today it's good to have that reminder, even though it will take a few days for these to flower.

The wind was building as we'd left the house, and when we got back the first job was to go into the garden to make sure anything that might be caught by the wind was securely fastened down, before Storm Isha hit with full force. It's going to be a wild night by all accounts. Stay safe!
