After Storm Isha.

Did a check of the house and garden. Took quite a pounding, not for the first time. These storms are more frequent nowadays. Lots of disruption locally. The earliest flowering plant in our garden, Hellebore Niger was unfazed by the storm event. It’s already survived the recent snow and prolonged frost. It’s lovely white flowers with yellow stamens and green leaves provided a bit of interest in the garden. Also known as Christmas Rose. We’ve other hellebores, they’re slightly later though.

My wife is under the weather today unfortunately.

Older son’s home had a bit of property damage. It was a bit of a short distraction on his first day back at work from his long paternity leave.
