I've known him and we've been friends for 61 years since primary school.

He retired 2 weeks ago and rang me to see if I was in. We spent 4 hours chatting and catching up having not seen each other since about 2018.

His wife Shelagh sent me sausage rolls fruit cake and some mince pies cos she knows I live alone - all good, tho we did eat the sausage rolls for lunch..
