Decaying Tree Trunk

No history lesson today…. ;-)

A rather damp morning - but I did go for a walk as it was a lot less blustery than yesterday.

Stopped to capture the side of this decaying tree trunk - I just loved the lines, colours  and textures, especially around the site where a branch used to join (the thumbnail view)
