Magpie in the murk

A dreadful day weather-wise and doubly depressing as I took the decision last night to cancel a planned trip to Edinburgh. I was supposed to meet a friend to go to an exhibition, then for lunch but with the storm forecast it didn’t seem worth the risk. Most of my local trains were cancelled this morning anyway so even if I hadn’t cancelled last night I would have had to today. 
So, it was another indoors day for me with some interludes watching the garden birds.
