23/01/2024_No more sag

The decking base was completed but it’s too wet to apply the self-adhesive rubber tape, so Chris turned his attention to my garden gate.


I am now an expert on why garden gates sag.

The brace piece should run from the bottom hinge to the diagonally opposite top corner. However most appear to be made the wrong way.

So today mine got re-braced properly all neatly set into the original bits (Chris is a bit of a perfectionist).
