Run with friends

Two friends suggested a run from my place.
They managed to get me to run 6.5 miles, amazing how the miles pass when you are chatting with friends.
The wife is visually impaired, having had a benign pituitary tumour resting on the third cranial nerve.
It was removed but not quickly enough (due to problems during covid) and the damage hasn't improved. She is awaiting further surgery to try and improve the position of the eye in the hope that the small amount of vision she has is easier for her.
She is loves her running and runs with a guide, either her husband or another friend who has done the blind runners guide course. Last year she completed the Cornish marathon
