Express Delivery!

We caught the 11.15 bus into Edinburgh - the plan was to have a coffee, drop some hand/body wash into the hotel on Stafford Street and get a tour, then meet S's family for our delayed Christmas lunch/get together in Omar Khayam.

All of those things happened (except the tour) and not in the order they were planned. Still, a lovely day in town catching up, eating good food and drinking good wine. Some of us 'may' have gone on to Teuchters for a few beverages after lunch. 

Home now, it's windy but nothing like it was on Sunday so fingers crossed its not enough to put paid to anything left on a shoogly peg from the last one. 

Stobo update: I've now received an email from the manager apologising for the incident, telling me that the problem was fixed immediately and that they're very sorry that no-one passed the incident info on to anyone in the first place. (I've also now been offered a free guest visit by way of an apology).
