Delilah

My house guest Delilah arrived this afternoon, she belongs to my eldest son, Jack. She has reached the grand age of 15, not sure what that is in dog years, but whatever it is she’s a lovely old thing. I know some people are afraid of Staffies but I’m not one of them. When I was having chemotherapy in 2019 I’d often stay overnight at Jack’s on chemo day and Del would wedge herself right up against me on the sofa with one paw firmly placed on my stomach. The Staffie reputation for being a nurse dog was certainly true when I needed it.

It’s been another stormy day, hopefully tomorrow will be better.
