lovely walk

Mattie and i walked from the gite to the beach to meet Mum and Dad. Nell slept in the bumpy buggy all the way. He found a four-leaf clover on the cliff top path. This picture was taken just before Nell fell flat on her face and had to be put into her third change of clothes- a beach dress made out of the baby sling and clothes pegs. Dad had a smashing moment too when he couldn't find his socks, which he had left tucked in his shoes. He eventually tracked them down tied around Mattie's knees, holding up his wet trousers- good point, not using your own socks. Ice creams and a lovely speedy cliff walk home, cold but bright.
