Rainy Day Stadium

Gateshead Stadium. Second day of the European Athletics Team Championship. It was a mixed day. We came third overall - an expected result, but there were some great performances especially from our younger women. They showed real grit and determination, a real inspiration if ever there was one.

The rains came down. This picture shows the dark gloomy clouds descending, just before a brief thunder and lightning storm.

A great day out - again.
