So Satisfying

An at home day, and a very pleasat one at that.  We just pootled about.  Doug did the black currant harvest and I (no make that we) did the cleaning and stripping of them.  Little Miss helped, then she decided she would like to mush them with her hands....."Nana, I'm finding this soooo satisfying".

We head off to Christchurch tomorrow to take them to their overnight airport hotel in readiness for their very early flight to Brisbane.  Unfortunately, their ongoing connection to Townsville is in serious doubt as Cyclone Kirrily is due to hit Townsville on Thursday afternoon and through Thursday night.  The airport closes tomorrow so unsure what Friday will bring.

As mentioned in yesterdays blip we headed down to the beach for a romp.....we did that and managed to avoid this.

The furniture has been moved in readiness for tonight’s concert.  She is the ultimate entertainer…..does contemporary jazz and Irish dance, learns singing and piano.  This year she has ditched the piano and taken up the viola.
