Pure and gentle …..
As a child, I loved Pears soap. We seldom had a gorgeous amber bar at home - it was kept to an occasional treat - but I just loved its difference, its fragrance, its translucency. Then there were all those beautiful advertising images - including the iconic Bubbles using a painting by Millais originally titled A Child's World which apparently led to widespread debate about the relationship between art and advertising.
Now, of course, the original Amber has been joined by others. There’s the blue with mint and this one, the beautiful pale teal variant with lemon flower extract. Strictly speaking, it’s not tiny, but it does bear that iconic imprint!
Thanks so much for your response to yesterday’s wild sunset! I’m grateful for the chance of some indoor photography today!
