Buttercups

Recently I read or heard somewhere that there are an unusually large number of buttercups flowering this year. I have no idea if that is true because it's not the sort of thing I monitor over the years, but since then I do seem to be noticing buttercups almost everywhere I walk outdoors. So, here are some buttercups.
