Cottage in Ruins
At the edge of Hamilton wood.
We had a good walk in blue sky and sunshine through the wood and around a couple of fields, which were very waterlogged so I was glad I’d worn my wellies, then back through the wood.
We raised the brown hare again. He was quite close to us this time and Geordie got pretty excited. He was keen to follow in hot pursuit, but I didn’t fancy getting dragged through the scrub and mud!
There are more flowers on the gorse bushes.
Spent most of the afternoon with Mitch. He won’t go to a hospice, or accept help at home. He’s very poorly now. It’s really difficult coming away and leaving him alone. My heart breaks for him.
