'Then flush'd her cheek with rosy light..
... she glanced across the plain.'
This 1912 art nouveau painting stands at the entrance to a Grade II Listed building in town, with a patterned mosaic bearing the name Hamlyn. The street is fairly ordinary looking, so this tucked away artwork is easy to miss.
Extra: Happy hungry heron, with fading fast fish.
Many thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.
