Mahonia

Went to meet Veda for lunch today full of aches and pains and not at my best.  Remembered to take her calender and Christmas socks. She'd forgotten hers  and forgotten the book I'd lent her so we got off to a bad start.  However we chatted away as ever and had a nice time. Fixed a date to meet in February hoping that the weather will have bucked up by then.  It's nice to see the mahonia out and one crocus has come through, not yet opened out, but looks as if it might do so soon.
