Wepre

This place was known as Wepre since the domesday book, it only became Connah’s Quay in the late eighteenth century. At least the local ancient woods still retains the old name.
Anyway, I had to head over to North Wales this morning. It’s only a 40 minute drive. Today it took twice as long. Given the recent storms that didn’t seem to bad tbh.
I always like to stop here for a coffee & some air.
Which is nice.
