Taxing day

I’ve always liked this row of Georgian terrace houses. Many are now home to various businesses though which in a way is a shame. I was on my way to my accountant’s to part with money as it is that time of year. Luckily his secretary S, who I’ve known for about 35 years, looked after it all for me doing it all on line. Then I went in to see D (accountant) for a chat and again I’ve know him for about the same length of time.

This afternoon I made a bad purchase and spent an hour on the phone trying to cancel the payment which apparently is impossible! I can see a dispute coming on but enough said.
