Folk are screaming out of control ...

Today my calendar has an entry. 'face burny with Tanya'

Yes.  

The IPL treatment was back on the cards 

Truth be told I was.quite looking forward.to.it.   After the pain subsided the last time I enjoyed my closed pores: the fresh faced look I had. And after a few weeks I realised the burst vein which caused me to go was slowly vanishing 

That was before I got home and discovered a bunch of bampots had been repairing the roof. And Pressure washed it too.

The path was strewn with debris. There were big dirty footprints all over the kitchen.  I was beside myself. 

Then the lady from the garage arrived with the car to test drive. 

Deep breaths. Deep breaths.  

The builders were blocking the drive. My car out in the street. She was parked about half way down the road 

I ran out and screamed at the builders to deal with the water gushing out of the drain pipe and I prayed they would be gone when I got back

The car drives beautifully.  The seat massages you back.  The sound system is all around you. When you stop the car the seat slides back away from the steering wheel.and down to a dismountable height 

We got back ; they were gone.  I sent himself out for a shot and I sat, supped sweet tea and did a lot of deep breathing 

When he came back he was also.enthralled.  New car ordered!

Then it was down to see Tanya for burny face 

Chloe was in to watch for practise 

I exhaled and said. Let's get on with it 

Holy crap it is so sore.  It feels like someone pressing a burning hot knife blade to your face. TWENTY FOUR TIMES

Yes. 24. Last time it was 9.   She reckoned I dealt with it so Wel last time. She could do a bit more; have a greater effect. 

I swore like a trooper through gritted teeth.  Yelped once or twice and then it was over.   Seven minutes. Again !  So fast. But so so so sore

I just lay there and said. I can't move. It's so sore but it was really because my back had locked 

But I got up and laughed at my red face in the mirror. And smiled. Knowing that if I do the same as last time, I have weeks of glowing skin and my vein will be even further away 

Painful. But worth it.  I asked her about a wee blemish on my neck. Like a skin tab but flatter.  She said. 'yes I can remove that:  it will be sore. Really sore. But you will cope'

I swear the sorer something is. The more she smiles at the prospect of it!
