Gone!

Yesterday you probably thought that Mr Flum was going on an expedition but it was actually the vestibule that was heading off.

The glaziers came today and ripped out all the rotten wood frames and inserted modern UPVC instead, we have a new front door which is slightly wider than the last so we can get in with the shopping without turning sideways. Oh, and the postie will be happy that the letterbox is now higher up than ground level.

There's some tidying and finishing to be done but no more plastic weighed down with bricks and flapping in the wind, it's all looking very smart.
