Helleborus X ( Winter Ballet Leona )

Another of our regular garden centre visits with Kanyl.  After the obligatory coffee, cake and chat we had a wander round.  All the outside areas were cordoned off, perhaps because of the storm or just the time of year.  In the covered at long last there was colour.

The colour was mainly from the Hellebores, also there were primulas and snowdrops.  I particularly like this hybrid.  It is an interspecies hybris i.e. between two genuses of Hellebore.  It flowers from December to March so provides much needed colour in the depths of winter.
