A soul destroying job.
Our garden landscapers, having spent Monday cutting down the hedge and piling it on the grass, didn't come yesterday as Storm Jocelyn blew through.
This morning, the boss arrived with a chipper on a trailer, but left again shortly afterwards when it transpired that he had a leaking pipe. He left his worker carting pieces of hedge from point A in the front garden to point B at the back. He didn't seem to be putting much energy into it, but can't really blame him, it was a disheartening job, as they'll have to be moved again into the chipper. That won't happen till Friday, as we're forecast another wet and windy day tomorrow.
This afternoon we had a brief trip into New Ross, and then this evening I've been to band practice. A misty drive back - presumably that will blow away when the forecast gale force winds arrive.
