Wednesdays Box

Todays sewing challenge.. tumbling boxes .. an old favourite but more often in my experience in patchwork.  My mother started a quilt top with English Paper pieced patchwork and completed it but never managed to sandwich it or quilt it.  I guess I should really do that before I am too old to enjoy it ... haha! also it would be one less thing in a bag in the house and a proper heirloom instead of a worry! 
My foot is really far from better so everything has been put on hold today other than another batch of marmalade which is boiling its final boil tonight while I am watching the news!  Foot up and resting... wish it would improve.. I am on the brink of ringing the doctor again.. one week on at this point.
